Is there a trial version of Visioaxess?
Yes! You can try Visioaxess free for 30 days. Trial users have
full, unrestricted use of our web platform or the software can be
directly installed to your server. At the end of your trial period,
you can convert your trial license to a full license and retain all
your user data..
How does licensing work?
The license granted to one or more Visioaxess module (s) determines
the number of users allowed to simultaneously connect to the program.
For example, if you have a two user license, only two users can
access Visioaxess at any one time. If a third user tries to logon, an
informational message will indicate that the user limit has been
reached, and the new user should try again later
Is it possible to change the license for one
or more module(s)?
Yes, the license change is registered in the software itself (See
our support page for more details) and additional features / users are
activated immediately, without having to reinstall the application.
Is it possible to change the license to
increase the number of authorized users?
Yes, the license change is directly in the program (Please take a
look on supprt page) and the changes are applied immediately without
having to reinstall the application.
Can Visioaxess work without an internet
connection, or on a single (non-networked) machine?
Yes, Visioaxess works in client / server mode, and the Internet is
not required if you install the software on a single computer. To
connect to the program, use your preferred web browser to navigate to
http://localhost/visioaxess (or http://127.0.0.1/visioaxess).
Can Visioaxess work via a business ethernet
network or corporate domain?
Yes, once installed on a server or a computer connected to the
shared network, the program is accessible to all computers on the
network (or authorized members in the field if it is a corporate
domain). To connect to the program, use your preferred web browser to
navigate to "http://name_of_machine/visioaxess" (or
"ip_address_machine / visioaxess").
I need to install or modify components on
the client computers?
No, customers can access the software via the web browser without
any modifications to the client machine. For more information, please
refer to the information from the "Prerequisites" page of the
Visioaxess module that interests you.
Should the client have administrator rights?
No, it is not necessary to have administrator rights. If you can
use a web browser on your computer, you can access the software. If
you do not have a browser pre-installed, or if you have a browser with
limited functionality, you can use a portable browser that does not
require installation on the user workstation (e.g. Google Chrome
Portable or Mozilla Firefox Portable).
Is my data well protected?
Yes, Visioaxess offers a very high level of protection by choosing
the safest components on the market, and by encrypting sensitive
information in the database. For use via the Internet, it is possible
to install a SSL certificate to encrypt data in transit between
workstations.
Is Visioaxess compatible with Windows, Mac
and Linux?
Visioaxess must be installed on a server or a Windows machine, but
the clients can use a browser to access the the software from a
Microsoft, Apple or Linux machine. However, if you do not have a
Windows machine, there are virtualization software solutions available
which will allow you to run Visioaxess
in a virtualized Windows environment from a Mac or Linux server. For

Can I connect to the server with my iPad,
iPhone or Android device?
Yes, all the important functions of Visoaxess' software are
available via the web browser on your network connected (WIFI, 4/3g,
EDGE or GPRS) mobile device.
